Operating throughout the UK for over 50 years, Parker; also known as Parker Hannifin, deliver quality electrical control and automation solutions for both OEM manufacturers, and end users.  As an accredited Parker distributor and installation engineer, we are able to design and deliver high quality, efficient and economically control and automation systems.

Parker aim to create innovative products and new technology that can improve the efficiency and production capabilities of a variety of industrial users.  The Parker product range of motion and control technology includes AC drives, DC drives, Servo drives and inverters.  Over the years we have used the majority of the range of Parker components in our electrical control panel and automation system builds.

We had been commissioned by an end-user customer to completely replace the drive control system and operator control desk for one of their Titan SR5 winding machines. 

The existing DC drives had been retained, and we designed our winding control system around the Parker 590 DC drive range.  We replaced the tacho feedback on the motors with encoder feedback to give a greater level of speed control.

This application consists of a range of Parker variable speed drive solutions to suit a winding machine application. 

The control system comprises a range of Parker AC690P, and Parker AC10 inverters .  This Parker AC690P variable speed drive is equipped to meet the requirements of different applications; from a single motor to sophisticated integrated drive systems.
