Safety Panel Applications

We were commissioned by an OEM industrial incinerator manufacturer, comprising of a Siemens S7-1200 Safety PLC Rack alongside a two-hand safety control Siemens 12" Comfort Touchscreen with data logging. 

These work alongside Siemens control gear, a Phoenix Contact 24v DC UPS system with PROFInet, SMC pressure transducers and Ilme high-density plugs and sockets. 

We were asked to design and build a fully bespoke electrical industrial control and automation panel featuring a number of Parker variable speed drives. 

Allen-Bradley ControlLogix PLC solutions handle the main functionality of the panel, whilst the safety of these devices are covered by a variety of Pilz and Guardmaster safety relays. 

For this application, Axis Controls designed a bespoke electrical industrial control panel system featuring an Allen-Bradley Compact GuardLogix PLC and screen user interface.  This system was UL 508A approved, making it safe for use in the US and Canada. 

The Pheonix Contact safety relay system is available in a modular or compact format and is also ideal for a range of safety applications, including; emergency stops, light grids, safety doors and many more.  

For this application, Axis Controls designed a bespoke electrical industrial control panel featuring eighteen Parker AC30 variable speed drives.

The main plant control panel was handled by an Allen-Bradley ControlLogix PLC system, that seemlessly interfaced with the established factory wide Wonderware SCADA system.  The electrical industrial control panel also featured a complex, complete safety system with numerous Pilz and Guardmaster safety relays to ensure safety throughout the production process. 

This application has a Phoenix Contact TrioPower PSU, alongisde a Pilz PNOZ safety relay system.  The Phoenix Contact TrioPower PSU has a robust metal housing, and is perfectly suited to standard machine production solutions. 

This application for an industrial containers control systm features a Pilz safety relay solution in combination with a Siemens Sirius system and Siemens SITOP PSU100L.  

The Pilz PONZ range monitors safety functions, including; E-Stop, safety gates, light barriers, light grids, two-hand controls, pressure mats, speed sensors and so much more. 

This system consists of a Sick FlexiSoft safety relay system, alongside the Siemens Simatic S7-1200 CPU and Siemens SITOP PSU.  

The Sick FlexiSoft system has a modular design, so it can be tailored to your specific application requirements.  The Sick FlexiSoft range is ideal for machines requiring average to complex safety relays, or applications with a large number of doors or inputs that require protective measures. 

This application consists of range of brand components, including Pilz PZE 9 safety relays; suitable for guard systems, emergency stop buttons, pull wire emergency switches safety light sensors and safety light curtains.  

This system also consists of Siemens SITUP PSE200U solutions, which offer electronic protection of direct current (DC) load circuits with fast fault detection.  

This is a multi-zone drying machine for one of our OEM Machine Builder customers.  Using six Siemens G120 30 kW variable speed drives with Profinet and ProfiSafe.
With a Siemens S7-1500 safety PLC and multiple operator 15" touchscreens.

This application features a Pilz safety relay solution in combination with a Siemens Sirius system and Siemens SITOP PSU100L.
